Alphabet Thursday! Letter A! And I got 2 things actually. Athina (A-th-een-a) and A cute chick.

      Yes, but the white one is actually one of the smallest breeds (other then Bantams).

      I know!!! I go outside like ten times a day to see it. Scratch (the chick's mom)is now bringing her outside.

      They are. But my poor little Athina is now sick :( At least I'm giving her herbal remedies.

    I like your "A" chicken pitures, Jane. You blog is nice too. Mrs. Jim and I are 'Jesus Freaks' also.

    When I grew up I lived on a farm. My mother had a lot of chickens. Most of hers were white like yours here. Sometimes she would have a group of brown ones, called Buff Orpingtons. Google that for some pictures of those chickens.

      Thanks! We have the Bufforfingtons, their really nice! I love them! And they are really good mom's (if their hens). I have one that is outside right now with her chick she hatched.
